An investment professional, Christopher Michael Pan has held positions with several financial companies and now serves as advisor to the board for Komago Capital Limited. Alongside his career, Christopher Michael Pan has pursued an interest in interior design, consulting for period building renovation projects. He also enjoys learning languages.
If you genuinely desire to learn a language, then learning that language will come much more easily to you. If you find yourself lacking such motivation, try to develop an interest in the language through whatever means you can. The best way to begin learning a language involves the same method you followed when you learned your native tongue: listening. The more you listen, the more quickly you will develop an ear for the language, which will help you to subconsciously grasp elements ranging from grammar and sentence structure to pronunciation. Watch television programs or listen to radio stations or podcasts in that language. Additionally, taking advantage of every spare moment can greatly increase the speed of your learning. If you’re sitting in traffic or standing in a line at the grocery store, you can practice the vocabulary you already know and string phrases together in your mind.
